Graduate student, Victor Beaty, attended the NSBP-NSHP joint annual conference, “Beyond Boundaries: Physics for the Future of Workforce & Research Development (P-FORWARD)”. He presented his work in developing implantation methods for high-purity neon targets for measuring the $^{20}$Ne(d,p)$^{21}$Ne reaction, which is planned as one of our flagship experiments with the new tandem injector system.
